Does 'IT' sound familiar?                                                                        

I have worked for companies who were virtually small United Nations. I worked along side people from Puerto Rico, Russia, France, Mexico, Africa, South America, Canada, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia and even the backwoods of Kentucky. I have worked along side CEO's, line workers, engineers, operation managers, salesmen, truck drivers, systems managers, and scrap haulers. We often shared together our life stories, interests, and dreams. Moments around the water cooler produced many engaging conversations and sharing moments. While we were all uniquely different, and many times wired up differently, I discovered that all of us have a major corner of our lives where we long to be filled by something whether it be a dream, a need, or a purpose if you will, to know that we are valued, accepted, and I feel, totally loved even in our imperfections. A need that I know, and both humbly and proudly share, can and only be filled by a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. My name is Garrett Knudson and I really believe that God's desire is to have a personal relationship with each individual in this world, allowing us to live in that awareness, and then getting to celebrate that relationship corporately together. The Bible says He initiated it, He longs for it, for it's the very heart of the God who created us. Simply put, it is the 'IT' of life.

Pastor Garrett is originally from Elgin, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago, where he worked in various venues and positions. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership and Management from Judson College in Elgin, Illinois and received his Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. His most recent ministry journey had him serving as a Church Planter and Mission Developer in South West Orlando, Florida. His wife, Rhonda of 23 years, most recently worked for Disney’s Wide World of Sports as an event coordinator. They have two children, a sixteen year old son, Stefan, and a seventeen year old daughter, Karson. He says, "You see, after charting other courses for myself in life, I learned the 'IT' of life is having a real, viable, transparent, personal, ongoing, trusting, friendship, and relationship with Jesus Christ.  I guarantee you will find nothing better in this life. Our God is faithful and He uses our life experiences to call us back home to where we are today, and to where we can be tomorrow, sharing the incredible reality of living and serving the One who first loved us.
