Holy Cross Lutheran Church and School (HCLC), Bordentown, NJ, is increasingly becoming "a place where good things happen." HCLC takes its guidance from God's Word, primarily from Acts 2:42-47.

As an Acts 2 church, HCLC has become a "hub of spiritual activity, " which is simply a place of involvement.

• The focus is on being a family and community of faith, not a club for members only.
• The focus is on making a difference in people's lives, not on going through the motions in numerous programs or activities.
• HCLC gladly welcomes any percentage of someone's faith "walk" with the Lord that involves HCLC, be it 100%, 50%, or 10%.
• HCLC's goal is to use whatever percentage of someone's faith "walk" that involves HCLC to help them move forward in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

A key part of HCLC becoming an Acts 2 church has been focus, simplicity, and creativity in the form of a three-point vision:

1. Excellence in worship experience: high energy contemporary worship experience with live music and video
2. Families with children: meet their needs through specific programs and our preschool
3. Community service and outreach: locally and globally roll up our sleeves to help those in need
